LoRa-Alliance

habemus! joined the LoRa Alliance as an ‘Adopter’ member in order to promote the development and further expansion of networks based on the LoRa protocol (LoRaWAN). This is a low-power wide area network technology (LPWAN).

LoRa is an acronym and stands for Long Range. The wireless network protocol was developed for an energy-saving transmission of small amounts of data over a long distance in the IoT range. The “Alliance” behind it is an open and non-profit association with the goal to unify LPWANs worldwide. LoRaWAN networks support very cost-effective, secure, bidirectional and long-range data transmission in IoT, machine-to-machine (M2M), smart city and industrial applications.

habemus! has been part of this community for a year and hopefully will be able to generate many inputs from the innovative ecosystem of the LoRa Alliance. The expectations of our customers and in the market are high and habemus! asks itself every day on a new “When does the customer say WOW”.
