For more than 10 years we have accompanied our customer Arnz FLOTT GmbH in the development of innovative machine tools in the field of electronics development. The basis of the entire PLUS series is a uniform and precise control panel. In addition, the latest generation of the PLUS series convinces with clear advantages:

  • Convenient man-machine interface with 4.3 ̋ Touch display
  • Customer-specific measuring and control card ensures a steplessly controlled and precise feed of the Z axis. This enables us to achieve a maximum degree of automation
  • The precise measuring and control technology allows the cutting of M1.5 threads without compensation chuck by synchronizing spindle speed and feed gear

CONDITION-MONITORING FOR WIND TURBINES

The maintenance of wind turbines is complex and expensive. The inspection and maintenance of rotor blades in particular is labour- and cost-intensive. They are particularly affected by lightning strikes. Knowing the condition of the blades without on-site inspection provides an enormous cost advantage. The cloud application for the condition monitoring of the wind turbines developed by habemus! starts exactly at this point. The low-energy detectors developed by habemus! and installed in the blades measure the intensity of the impact in a decentralized and precise way, which can be used to determine the wear. The collected data is sent via ZigBee to the control unit which is installed in the gondola. The data is then transferred via LTE to the cloud, where it is processed and visualized by a web application.

DEVELOPMENT OF MACHINE TOOLS

A hydraulic tool that is used worldwide should be easy to operate and guarantee a safe and robust function. It should be easily connected to 120V and 230V networks.

A robust and intelligent control system including housing has been developed. A safety concept was developed and implemented to ensure safe and simple operation. In addition, the controller can be easily parameterised. A modular design allows the upgrade of additional functions.

BOX BUILDING

DEVELOPMENT OF MEASURING INSTRUMENT

A gas tank is tested using a complex measurement setup consisting of several measuring instruments. The test engineer should carry out the measurement according to a comprehensive flow chart and create a test report. The test report is then checked for correctness and released.

Several test devices are replaced by a single robust and reliable measuring device. The measuring accuracy is increased by the latest technology. The complex flow chart is stored in the measuring instrument, which largely automates the testing process. The measured values are checked for correctness. The generated protocols can be determined via USB or radio. The position of the tank is recorded via GPS.

PLANT AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

In conveyor systems, actuators should be controlled, sensor values recorded and reading points read in. A data exchange by a central control system was another goal. Both the communication and the power supply should take place via a power cable.

A control system with a state-of-the-art actuator control for the wide range was developed. An interference-resistant, customer-specific interface (similar to a CAN bus) allows robust communication via the power cable. A power supply unit for wide-range and sensor as well as RS485 interface was implemented.
